This is what the Corvair looked like when my friend Wayne first built the car. This car in the 70's was one of the fastest, if not the fastest car on the streets of Utah. I watched him race more times than I can remember. My friend Richard said he lost to Denny's Gremlin, but I didn't see it. When my friend Warren had the car, he said it ran 9.60's in the 1/4 mile. It had a 350 motor, a 4 speed trans, and was less than 2800 lbs. It was one fast car.
